Allows your members to add topic thumbnails from topic attachments. Now also includes support for image uploads, image urls, external images and media thumbnails.

Features:

  1. Allow members to upload or enter a url to a thumbnail when creating topics.
  2. If no thumbnail provides, auto mode supports grabbing thumbnails from either topic attachments, external images or media thumbnails (YouTube).
  3. Optional cropping support to allow members to crop the exact image they want.
  4. Set which forums will support topic thumbnails and which forums will require them.
  5. Optional image hover to show full original image.
  6. Change the thumbnail size displayed in desktop and what thumbnail is shown when none available.
  7. Set group permissions for who can view, change and manage topic thumbnails.

@Brother имхо именно в таком виде это не подходит, перегружает страницу картинками. Разве что делать отображение как Сетка: отображение форумов как карточки в сетке, но оно работает для форумов, а не тем. Да и опять таки если тем много, то это для пользователя не будет удобным.
